The Courant Institute is hosting a conference on Random Matrix Theory and Combinatorics from June 2-6, 2002. The goal of the conference is to bring together leading mathematicians, physicists, and also experimentalists in order to showcase the many exciting developments that have taken place in recent years at the interface of statistical mechnics, random matrix theory, and combinatorics. The conference is supported in part by the National Science Foundation.
