Welcome! I am a Courant Instructor in the Department of Mathematics at
the Courant Institute.
I work in integrable systems, random matrices and orthogonal polynomials.
Here are my CV and my thesis.
Publications (you can also find them on the Los Alamos archive):
- Multi-Hamiltonian structures for the defocusing Ablowitz-Ladik equation (with Michael Gekhtman), preprint, to appear in Comm. Pure Appl. Math.
- Poisson brackets for orthogonal polynomials on the unit circle, preprint, submitted for publication.
- A note on circular trace formulae, preprint, to appear in Proc. Amer. Math. Soc.
- CMV matrices in random matrix theory and integrable systems: a survey,
preprint, J. Phys. A: Math. Gen. 39 (2006),
8811--8822.
- CMV: the unitary analogue of Jacobi matrices (with Rowan Killip),
preprint, Comm. Pure Appl. Math. 60 (2007), 1148--1188.
- Lax pairs for the Ablowitz-Ladik system via orthogonal
polynomials on the unit circle, preprint, Int. Math. Res. Not. 11 (2005), 647--686.
- Matrix models for circular ensembles (with Rowan Killip),
preprint, Int. Math. Res. Not. 50 (2004), 2665--2701.
Seminars: I am a co-organizer of the CIMS Random matrices and integrable systems working seminar.
