It is expected that many participants will want to make their own arrangements, and not confine themselves to the conference block or even downtown Manhattan locations. The New York City hotel market is voluminous and ranges from economy to luxury, with the main capacity concentrated midtown. Excellent deals may be available for mid-January from web booking sources. Participants are reminded that Monday 17 January is a holiday in the US. The conference has been scheduled to permit convenient Saturday overnight stay into a long weekend. Participants are encouraged to check maps for convenience to subways and transit hubs.
